Burnshield Foam Dressing 600mm x 400mm (24″x16″)

Burnshield Dressing 600 × 400 mm is a sterile hydrogel dressing specially designed for the emergency treatment of large-area burns and scalds. Measuring 24 × 16 inches (600 × 400 mm), the dressing consists of a fibreless, elastic open-cell foam sheet soaked in Burnshield sterile trauma hydrogel.

With its high water content, the hydrogel helps absorb and dissipate heat from the affected area, supporting rapid cooling and soothing of the burn. The flexible foam structure conforms to body contours while helping retain the hydrogel within the dressing.

The dressing is non-adherent, helping to minimise tissue disturbance during application and removal. It provides a natural wound covering and helps protect the affected area from external contaminants while maintaining a moist environment.

The large 600 × 400 mm format is particularly suitable for extensive burn areas and larger body regions such as the torso, back and legs, making it a practical solution for emergency first aid and burn-care kits. The dressing is sterile, non-toxic and non-irritant, and is suitable for use on children.
